City of Charlotte Nominated for Aberdeen Award

We would like to congratulate Tableau customer City of Charlotte for its nomination for Aberdeen Group’s Industry Achievement Award for Business Analytics Excellence.

According to Aberdeen, “the award acknowledges an organization that has demonstrated the creative application of analytics to a new business area or business problem, the successful implementation of approaches to growing the use of analytics within their organization, or the innovative use of emerging and cutting edge BI technologies to drive business value."

Jim Raper, manager of data administration at City of Charlotte, is representing the city at today’s Aberdeen BA Summit in Boston.

Earlier this year, the City of Charlotte was featured in articles in KMWorld and Government Technology highlighting how it uses Tableau to empower business users across the city. Charlotte was also recognized for its “BI Olympiad,” which includes a contest for the business units across the city.
