Dashboard layout

in Wouldn't it be nice if...

Oftentimes, many of my dashboard elements are graphical in nature, and I make use of the Size or Color shelves. I eats up a bit or visual real estate on a dashboard to add these elements, and there are times when there is unused white space in a grpah that would be better suited to place a legend than adjacent to the graph.

It'd be nice to be able to overlay legend and size cards on top of their respective images, (say in the upper corner).
