Dashboard Push

We plan on developing dashboards that can be run daily, weekly, etc by our users to keep current with various metrics. It'd be nice if we could "push" a dashboard (as a PDF) to users via email, on a scheduled basis, instead of making them proactively open and wait for the queries to execute. We might still want them to go into the tool and analyze results when needed, but a push of the data lets them know if any action needs to be taken or further investigation is needed without entering the tool.

Scheduled execution of Tableau analyses is a good idea and something that we are interested in, so I'll pass this on to our planning team.

Another option for you might be Tableau Server, which would allow you to publish data to a web server. Then you could point your users to a URL where the dashboard is published, and they could look at it using their browser. Check it out and let us know if you have any questions about it.
