Where Have All the Bears Gone?

At a first glance, there are several things you can see. First, it becomes clear that these animals primarily live in mountainous regions of the United States such as in the Rocky Mountains and the Appalachian Mountains. In addition, when you use the pages shelf (sheet 1) in the packaged workbook to advance through the years, Idaho seems to have the largest population of black bears early on, but experiences a major population decrease in 1972.
