Finding a car that fits my driving habits
In 2008 the costs of a Gallon of regular grade gas fluctuated between a low of $1.75 on 12/15 to a high of $4.56 on 6/23 in San Francisco. With a pricing swing of that magnitude, it is impossible to budget for fuel costs for my daily commute to Tableau Software. At over $4.50 a Gallon I can’t really even use the term ‘budget’. The solution to this problem is finding a car that fits my driving habits in terms of distance and terrain.
What is the best car for a daily highway commute? What is the best car for City driving on the evenings and weekends? Which car will give me the fuel economy that I desire but the power that I need for the Hills of San Francisco? Most importantly, which car will fit my self-image but won’t break the bank to run?
