Even more connectivity
We’ve added native connectivity for four datasources and provided support for hundreds of other connections with an ODBC connector.
- Sybase IQ
Sybase IQ is a column-based analytics server designed for business intelligence, analytics and data warehousing solutions. Tableau supports Sybase IQ database version 12 and higher. - Microsoft® PowerPivot
Microsoft PowerPivot is an Excel add-in for modeling and analyzing data in large Excel worksheets of up to 2 gigabytes, literally millions of rows of data. Tableau connects to PowerPivot files that have been published to SharePoint 2010 servers. - Greenplum
Greenplum is a massively parallel processing (MPP) database designed for data warehousing and large-scale analytics. Tableau connects to Greenplum version 3.3 and higher. - ParAccel Analytic Database (PADB)
ParAccel Analytic Database (PADB) is a columnar, massively parallel database for data warehousing, analytics, and business intelligence. Tableau connects to PADB version 2 and higher. - ODBC
As a publicly defined standard, many database vendors make ODBC drivers available for connecting to their databases. ODBC drivers used with Tableau are required to meet the ODBC Version 3.0 compliance level.
