Before getting started make sure you have full administrator rights and access to the domain.
Your download should begin automatically. If it doesn't, click here.

Start the process by clicking Run. Depending on your connection speed, the download may take up to a few minutes.

Click the "Next" button and the install wizard will help guide you through the installation process. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the software.

Click "Start Trial Now" to begin exploring you fully functional copy of Tableau Desktop

Now that you've installed the software click the "Register Now" button and follow the online instructions to register your trial and begin the configuration of Tableau Server.

By default, Tableau Server runs on a machine account called Network Service. This configuration will allow you to manually control your users, trusted tickets and use the Sample Data and Users. Click "OK" to save configuration. Follow remaining on screen instructions.

(Optional Setting) If you would like to use a specific user account fill in "User" and "Password" (useful if you are using NT Authentication w/ data sources.) To use Active Directory select "Use Active Directory" and fill in the corresponding text boxes. Click "OK" to save configuration. Follow remaining on screen instructions.

To start using Tableau Server set up the administrator account by typing a User Name, Display Name and Password (twice) then click the "Add User" button.
If you are using Active Directory type an existing User Name, Display Name and Password for the Active Directory user who will be the administrator then click the "Add User" button. -
8.
Once the your browser launches you are ready to begin exploring the full functioning trial version of Tableau Server.
