Storytelling Viz Contest

Look how happy Storypoints make Tara!

It's your last chance! It's time for our third of three contests that feed into the Iron Viz at the Tableau Conference in Seattle in September.

For the uninitiated, Iron Viz is the ultimate battle of Tableau skills. Three challengers are selected based on contests held through Tableau Public. The challengers will face off head-to-head in a 20-minute viz battle in front of a live audience at the Tableau Conference. This event has continually been one of the favorite events of conference.

We've already chosen our first contestant, John Mathis, in the Elite 8 Sports Viz Contest in March. He will be joined by Jeffrey Shaffer, the winner of our Quantified Self Viz Contest. Now it's time to see if you have what it takes to join the two of them in Viz Stadium!

For our third and final contest, we want you to use the awesome new Storypoints feature in Tableau 8.2! You can use any data you want, just make sure you tell us a great story! The submission period starts NOW and ends on July 21st, so get working on those stories! For more information about the contest, check out our contest page. You can read the full rules of the contest on our Frequently Asked Questions page.

Good luck and happy vizzing!

Unfortunately, you submitted after the deadline for the contest. Submissions were due on July 21st at 12am Pacific time and your viz wasn't submitted until after 9pm later that day. I apologize if the instructions were unclear to you.
