Afghan War Diaries Analysis

When Wikileaks released 92,000 classified reports, it gave citizen bloggers the opportunity to investigate the longest war in American History in new ways. Some of these bloggers found Tableau Public a good platform for analyzing this information, including Neil Houston who examined which groups of people have been killed in the conflict and where those death occurred.

About this Viz

In his blog Neil passed judgment neither on the war nor how the reports were leaked. Instead he explained that he "produced a visualisation, showing which of these (Afghan War) engagements involved a friendly/civilian/enemy being killed in action [KIA]."
