As you can imagine, iPad users are very interested in their bill and whether or not it’s too high. This visualization went viral sparking great conversations across the web. Some people commiserated about their high rates, others bragged about low rates, and still others brought in new information about countries and plans that were not included in the viz.
About this Viz
Small, dense countries like Hong Kong and Singapore manage to offer plans at less than 1/20th the cost (per gigabyte) in the US. Apples to oranges perhaps, but even the UK manages to offer plans for 1/5th the cost.
