Twitter has become a complex and diverse ecosystem-- one worthy of visualization. This view analyzes the influence of several hundred of the most popular Twitter users (the "TwInfluencers") based on thier number of followers and lists they are on.
About this Viz
Those users in the top right of the scatterplot have a high number of followers and are also listed heavily; Power TwInfluencers, if you will. There is a strong correlation between number of followers and number of lists. However, a few of the most famous TwInfluencers are much higher in followers than lists, perhaps because they one one of a kind and don't fall into categories easily.
