This week, we would like to call attention to our #5 viz, from the Thomas Chamberas Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, which burned up the screen with 43% interactivity. The Everett Herald had the most popular viz this week.
About this Viz
Vizzing the Thomas Chamberas XC Race
A little more on Thomas from the foundation: On July 27th, 2005 Thomas Francis Chamberas was born. He was named after his late Uncle Tommy who died in 1994. When Thomas Francis was 10 days old he was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis. Every year, the foundation holds a cross-country race to raise funds for Cystic Fibrosis research. See how everyone finished here.
Statistic charts on the web should really be interactive. Until Tableau Public, that had never been easy. But now, I have a tool with which I can explain large and complex datasets in a clear, simple and engaging way.
